Swansboro EMS/Rescue Squad-Application
Join SEMSR
In order to be a Member of Swansboro EMS/Rescue Squad (SEMSR) you must be first qualified under the following guidelines:

  1. Be a NC certified EMT-B or higher or a Basic Rescue Tech (BRT) or higher.
  2. If you do not want to be a EMT, you can be trained in Rescue only.
  3. Must meet the State training requirements, including the hours for EMT re certification.
  4. Be at least 18 years of age to join.
  5. Finish a six (6) month probation period.
  6. Abide by SEMSR Constitution, By-Laws & Standard Op Procedures (SOP).
  7. Have a valid NC Drivers License or equivilant if you are in the military.

If you meet these requirements and are interested in becoming a member of SEMS please feel free to print out and fill out the APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. A squad officer will contact you and set up a interview.
